The hours of the Open House are 11:00 am until 7:00 pm.
I am not able to be there for that length of time and my studio will close at 4:00 pm.

A few of my pieces are on display at Mile Zero Cafe, 2612 Bridge Street.

The cafe is open for take-out only in compliance with Public Health Order and there are chairs and tables outside.

Although you can't set up camp inside the cafe you are able to dawdle long enough to gaze appreciatively at the art on the walls, grab an excellent beverage and consider purchase of some art to enhance your pandemic sojourn.

My painting, Midnight, sold through the silent auction.

I have donated two pieces for the fundraiser.


Excerpt from message from Pat Martin Bates, Honorary Chair

As the largest exhibit of art on the West Coast, the Eye Appeal is one of the most anticipated fundraisers on Vancouver Island and attracts hundreds of art lovers, collectors, and the media. Held this May 3, 2019 at the Crystal Garden, over 150 original pieces of art will be beautifully show cased and guests have the privilege of taking one home. Proceeds from the event provide special equipment and services for Vancouver Island residents who are blind or partially sighted, so that they can enjoy independent living. We, the artists, have provided the means for this major fundraising campaign by raising over one million dollars since 1997.
